Each grade level offers a bilingual classroom taught in Spanish and English. Programming begins in ECE with 90% of the class taught in Spanish and 10% in English.
At each grade level the amount of English taught changes accordingly:
ECE and Kinder: 90% Spanish, 10% English
1st Grade: 80% Spanish, 20% English
2nd Grade: 70% Spanish, 30% English
3rd Grade: 50% Spanish, 50% English
4th Grade: 60% Spanish, 40% English
5th Grade: 80% Spanish, 20% English

Specials
At Munroe we offer four Specials classes that all ECE-5th Graders rotate through each week.
We offer Visual Arts, P.E., Music, and STEM/Robotics
Each semester our Specials teachers facilitate a night of learning and fun through our Munroe Arts Nights. Students participate in concerts, dance performances, art galleries and STEM Projects with their families.
Intervention
Munroe has three full time interventionists that support K-5th. We have a dedicated ELA-S and ELA-E Interventionist as well as a Math Interventionist.
