Ms. Rowley (formerly Ms. Roberson)
Role: Special Education Teacher
Ms. Rowley is a first-year Special Education teacher with a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Colorado Denver. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes resilience, effort, and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and successful.
As someone with dyslexia, Ms. Rowley struggled to learn to read and often felt like she wasn’t smart as a child. Now, she dreams of earning a PhD to continue creating meaningful change and destigmatizing special education. She doesn’t believe students are “disabled” but rather that they have unique ways of learning.
Outside the classroom, Ms. Rowley enjoys exploring nature and expressing her creativity through a variety of mediums.
