Mrs. Diaz has been a bilingual dedicated teacher for 22 years. She graduated from Regis University with a major in Sociology and Fine Arts. She has her Elementary Education degree from Metropolitan State University. Mrs. Diaz was born in Mexico City but ever since she started working for DPS she fell in love with Munroe and its amazing community.
Mrs. Diaz believes that strong family-and-school connections are key to students’ success. She also believes that every student deserves excellent education and every student is capable of Mr s. Diaz’s goal is to create a safe, welcoming and engaging learning environment where every student strives, feels valued, included and proud of their cultural and linguistic roots.
Outside of teaching, Mrs. Diaz enjoys traveling, going to the movies, going hiking, camping, kayaking and being outdoors with her friends and family.
